The problem
Founder Ross Taylor and his team at Smart Aim Solutions have been steadily improving their operations and scaling up as the business matures. The company has harnessed the potential of young talent from the local area since forming in 2017.
However, while their services went from strength to strength, their infrastructure was left behind as they struggled with technical debt and communications.
Ross confessed that a lack of in-house IT expertise led to an IT and phone infrastructure that lagged behind the growth of the rest of the company. It was especially apparent in the company’s phone system, which meant that the team were missing calls when working at clients.
So in Early 2024, they set to task on finding a local solutions partner that could act as their external IT department and overhaul communications throughout Smart Aim.
